Mrs. Mary Lee Hargrove age 84 of Clarkton, North Carolina was born on February 10, 1939, to the late Jessie Locklear and the late Arjane Jones Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life to eternity on Sunday August 06, 2023, at Cape Fear Bladen Healthcare, Elizabethtown, North Carolina. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one son Kenny Hargrove, three daughters, Susie Ann Locklear, Margaret Ann Martinez, Elaine Cummings, several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Mary leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 66 years Hugh A. Hargrove Sr. of the home, three sons: James Hargrove of Bladenboro, North Carolina, Alford Hargrove of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina, Manardie Hargrove of Clarkton, North Carolina, three daughters: Sue McNeill of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina, Charlene Hargrove of Clarkton, North Carolina, Sarah Landeta of Bladenboro, North Carolina, one brother: Leno Locklear of Raeford, North Carolina, two sisters: Martha Lowry and Rosa J. Gray both of St. Pauls, North Carolina, sixteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
