Mrs. Mary Brayboy Brooks age 78 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on July 2, 1948, to the late John D. and Polly Brayboy in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed her earthly home to now reside in her heavenly home with her Lord and all her other family and friends that have went on before her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband our daddy Lacy Brooks of 36 years of marriage, her second husband Jeffery Brooks, one sister, Pearlie Ree Oxendine, a brother, Clonnie Brayboy, two sister-in-laws, Shirley Brayboy and Everlene Brayboy.

Sister Mary leaves to cherish her memories two daughters: Adena Bryant (James), and Mercell Brooks both of Red Springs, North Carolina, three grandchildren: James Travis Bryant, Shenna Bryant and Dustin Bryant, four great grandchildren: Gabriel Lacy Bryant, Joshua Landon Locklear Jr., Logan Hunt and Esimae Isabella Locklear, four brothers: Britton Brayboy (Blondel), Orland Brayboy (Michelle), her twin Joseph Brayboy (Cheryl), Sanford Brayboy, one sister: Maxine Locklear (Danny), a close friend: Diana Chavis, along with a lot of close friends and church family.
