Mrs. Marie Seals McMillian, age 66 of Pembroke, North Carolina, was born on March 29, 1960, to the late Army Hunt and the late Alice Seals in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life to eternity on August 20, 2026, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents: Army Hunt and Alice Seals; her husband: Jimmy McMillian; one son: Jimmy McMillian, Jr.; one sister: Janet Locklear; and one brother: Henry Godwin

Mrs. Marie leaves to cherish her memories; one son: Derrick McMillian (Carrie) of Pembroke, NC; two brothers: James Willie Seals and James Richard Newton (Vicki Ann Newton), both of Pembroke, NC; two sisters: Helen R. Seals of Lumberton, NC and Linda Seals (Terry Hardin) of Pembroke, NC; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a special friend: Christina Oxendine; and a host of other relatives and friends.
