Mrs. Margie Ethel Smiling Oxendine age 56 of Pembroke, North Carolina was born on Dec 05, 1966, to the late Mr. Leon Lucius Smiling and late Mrs. Eula Mae Brooks Smiling in Scotland County. She departed this life into eternity on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Scotland Morrison Manor surrounded by her loving family. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers, William Smiling, Leon Lucius Smiling Jr and Spencer Lucius Smiling, one sister, Eva Mae Smiling Chavis and two brother-in-laws, Mitchell Strong and Timothy Spaulding.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Tyrone Locklear of the home, two brothers, Billy Ray Smiling (Mary), Donald Lee Smiling both of Maxton, North Carolina; seven sisters, Martha Lee Smiling Hunt (Jimmy Ray), Naomi Smiling Brayboy (William), Linda Smiling Scott (Donald), Brenda Smiling Locklear (Alford), Barbara Smiling Strong, Rosie Lee Smiling Jones (Harold), Sharlene Smiling Spaulding, and a host nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
