Mrs. Mamie Lois McNeill age 95 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on August 28, 1925, to the late Mr. Doc Hardy and the late Mrs. Maggie Shields Hardy in Jefferson County, Georgia. She departed this life on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at UNC Southeastern Health in Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Carletha Rogers and Rudolph McNeill, a grandson, Frenchy Henderson, her siblings, John L. Hardy, Ed Hardy, Louise Murphy, Gertrude Scruggs, Geneva Chatman.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Sara Stocks and husband Jackie Stocks of Red Springs, North Carolina; Lillian Bethea of Charlotte, North Carolina; one son, Roosevelt Sinclair of the home, one brother, Louis Hardy of Boston, MA; five grandchildren, Jacqueline Henderson Townsend, Bennie Henderson, Jr., Melanie P. Stocks, Patrick Stocks, Nikita Wilson. Great-grandchildren, Quentin G. Townsend, and wife Amanda,  Brandon L. Townsend, Myasia Capel, Ramarous Capel, Symira Stocks, Jaxon Eddie Stocks, a great-great-grandchild: Naveah Townsend, a host of step-grandchildren, A special friend, Doreatha Terry, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
