Mrs. Lorrine Locklear age 89 of Maxton, North Carolina, was born on July 22, 1934, to the late James Locklear (Jimmy) and the late Jessie Bell Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life on April 13, 2024, at her residence. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her parents that raised her Johnnie D. Locklear (Bully) and Kate Locklear, Mama Cattie Locklear, her sons Ricky Locklear and Teddy Locklear, her siblings Sam Locklear, Jessie Lee Chavis, Geraldine Jones, Everlene Locklear, Clarice Locklear, and Tracy Locklear.

Mrs. Lorrine leaves to cherish her memories her husband: Roosevelt Locklear, one son: Michael Lamar Locklear (Nina) of Holden Beach, North Carolina, two daughters: Donna Cummings (Kennie) of Maxton, North Carolina, Sylvia Averette (Rudy) of Rowland, North Carolina, four brothers: Bradford Locklear of Randleman, North Carolina, Charlie Locklear of Baltimore, Maryland, Calvin Locklear of Red Springs, North Carolina, Bracey Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, one sister: Katie Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, her grandchildren that seen her everyday: Jermaine Cummings, and his children: Konnor, Kreed, Kalani, and Von Locklear (Pam) and their children: Donyal, Ashton, Aaron, Alex, a special granddaughter: Chasity Maynor, a total of sixteen grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren, a special family friend: Loretta Locklear, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
