Ms. Lois Locklear age 78 of Shannon, North Carolina was born on February 25, 1944, to the late Mr. Richard Cummings and the late Mrs. Lannie Woods in Robeson County and departed this life on December 10, 2022, at First Health Moore Regional, Pinehurst, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her husband Winston Locklear.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Bruce Locklear and Dennis Locklear of Shannon, North Carolina; one daughter, Janice Locklear Jones (Martin) of Red Springs, North Carolina; six brothers, Richard Earl Cummings of Raeford, North Carolina; Johnny Woods, Don Woods, Robert McLaughlin all of Red Springs, North Carolina; Bobby McLaughlin of Texas, Richard Cummings of Maxton, North Carolina, four sisters, Teresa Ann Coleman of Laurinburg, North Carolina; Maxine McLaughlin of Texas, Michelle Weel of Raeford, North Carolina, Betty Faye Proussard of Maxton, North Carolina, six grandchildren, Leonard Oxendine, Eric Locklear, Delbert Devon Jacobs, Jermaine Locklear, Destiny Lowery, Martin Jones Jr, eleven great-grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends.
