Mr. Leslie Gene Carter age 73 of Fayetteville, North Carolina was born on March 31, 1953, to the late Golden Leslie Carter and the late Lucille Groves Carter. He departed this life on July 12, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister: Essie Neill Carter Cain Vaughn, two brothers: Clester Carter and Eartle B. Carter, his maternal grandparents, Gold Carter and Thelma Smith Carter.

Mr. Leslie leaves to cherish his memories his children: Hope Bullard, Leslie Gold Carter, Leslie Gene Carter Jr., Philip Gene Carter, Crystal Carter, Derrick Ray Carter, Nakia Misa Carter, one brother: Dorsey Carter, a host grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other family and friends.
