Mrs. Lena Scott Stanton age 75 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on July 21, 1947 to the late Mr. Fred Scott and the late Mrs. Fodie Locklear Scott in Robeson County. She departed this life into eternity on February 11, 2023, at her home. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her two sons, William Stanton, Frederick Stanton, her brothers, Vernon Scott, Leroy Scott, Fred "Deuce" Scott, three sisters, Edna Lee Quick, Dorothy Cummings, Lula Harris.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Nicholle Stanton of the home, Charlena Pritchard of South Carolina; special granddaughter, Selena Nicholle Stanton, four grandchildren, William Cody Stanton, Leigh Ann Stanton, Makayla Johnson, Aaron Pritchard, four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
