Mr. Kenneth "Pookie" McKinnon age 59 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on September 15, 1962, to the late Johnny Haywood and the late Mary McKinnon Haywood in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on July 28, 2022. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Ricky Haywood, Mary McKinnon, and Johnnie Mae Haywood.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son: Kendrick McKinnon of Savannah, Georgia, two daughters: Shalinda Galbreath of Savannah, Georgia, and Selena McKinnon of Red Springs, North Carolina, one brother: Tony Haywood ( Nikki )of Raeford, North Carolina, two sisters: Clara Lane (Jeff) and Shonda Howard both of Raeford, North Carolina, a special friend: Shirley Ware of Raeford, North Carolina, two grandchildren: Tahtiana Kaluhiwa and Zephanaiha Kaluhiwa, two aunts, Clara (Joe) Govan of Aberdeen, North Carolina; Evelene Williams of New Jersey, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
