Mr. Kendrick Lee Chavis age 29 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on February 12, 1991 to Mr. Kenneth Johnson and Mrs. Victoria Chavis Johnson in Cumberland County, North Carolina. He departed this life on December 5, 2020 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Allen Hunt (AL Green), Hubert Ray Johnson, and grandmother, Wanda Johnson.

Mr. Kendrick leaves to cherish his memories his parents Kenneth Johnson and Victoria Chavis Johnson of Red Springs, North Carolina, children: Steven Chavis and Olivia Lean Johnson of the home; Khasimira Chavis of Pembroke, North Carolina; Katie Barton of Maxton, North Carolina and Devin Cain of Lumberton North Carolina; one brother: Dustin Locklear and wife Amber of Red Springs, North Carolina; Jamie Bullard who was raised like his brother, maternal grandmother Caroline Chavis of Red Springs,  North Carolina, paternal grandmother Blondell Lowery of Raeford, North Carolina, uncles: Sherman Ray Knights, Robert Earl Chavis and wife Tessa, Hubert Johnson Jr. aunts: Pam Johnson and Phil all of Red Springs, North Carolina Godmother Loretta Chavis, niece, Jalaya Locklear, nephew, Jadon Locklear along with a host of other relatives and friends.
