Mrs. Katherine Jones age 55 of Rowland, North Carolina was born on May 30, 1967 to the late Rev. Roosevelt Jones and the late Mrs. Mittie Jane Jones in Robeson County. She departed this life on January 05, 2023 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one son, Anthony Lynn Carter (Hoss), brother, Rev. Eugene Jones, step daughter, Candace Locklear.

Mrs Katherine leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, James Locklear (Love Bug) of the home, one son, Tony Lee Carter (Lannie),  six sisters, Nancy Jane Locklear (Brian) , Betty Jane Cummings, Judith Ann Pierce (Casey), Irene Hitchens (Roger), Laura Vanessa Hammonds, Emma Kay Locklear. two brothers, Rev. Matthew Jones (Annette), Joseph Jones, three stepchildren, Scottie Locklear (Steph), Nikki Locklear, Christina Brewer, two special grandchildren, Cody Lee Carter (Piglet), and One Shoe Joe, nineteen grandchildren, three sister in laws, four brother in laws, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
