Mrs. Judy Annette Locklear age 71 of Shannon, North Carolina was born on October 04, 1949 to the late Mr. John D. Locklear and the late Mrs. Geneva Thomas Locklear in Robeson County. She entered into eternity to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John L. Locklear, one brother, Randy J. Locklear.

Mrs. Judy was a dedicated member of Shannon Assembly of God, She taught the teen Sunday School Class for many years and inspired the lives of so many. She also was the church secretary. She was a dedicated employee with Robeson and Hoke County Department of Social Services for  thirty two years until her retirement. Mrs. Judy was a graduate of Magnolia High School Class of 1967. She served her community in various jobs such as Poll Clerk, Notary, Bookkeeper for several local businesses. Mrs. Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend and "caregiver" with a "big heart". Her goal was to win all she could to Christ. Even in the last days she witnessed to all that graced her presence. Her contagious smile and humble spirit will be truly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Patrick Owen Locklear and wife Annette Locklear, Vance Locklear and wife Allison Strickland Locklear all of Shannon, North Carolina; Grandchildren, Trinity Locklear, Destiny Locklear, Savannah Locklear, Jersey Locklear, and Canyon Lee Locklear. Sisters, Kathy J. Locklear of Lumberton, N.C and Carol Jean Locklear of Rennert, North Carolina; Beneva Locklear of Shannon, North Carolina; Brothers, Robert D. Locklear and Sandy K. Locklear both of Rennert, North Carolina; Ronnie L. Locklear of Red Springs, North Carolina; A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
