Joshua Adam Grooms age 34 of Laurinburg, North Carolina was born on June 1, 1987, to Justin Wayne Grooms and the late Candy Hyatt in Scotland County, North Carolina. He departed this life on July 16, 2021, in Scotland County. North Carolina. Along with his mother, Joshua was preceded in death by his brothers Brandon Keith Grooms, and  Jeffrey Dewayne Hyatt.

Joshua leaves to cherish his memories his children: Josh Adams Jr., Arianna Austin, Alexis Austin, father: Justin Wayne Grooms of Scotland County, brother: Jerry Wayne Locklear ( Amy) of Laurinburg, North Carolina, maternal grandmother: Marie Hyatt of Scotland County, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
