Mr. Johnathan Michael Strickland, age 27 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on February 09, 1994 in Scotland County to Mr. Steve and Veneshia Clark. He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 04, 2021 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Mr. Wade Jr. Stickland and Rev. Billy D. Clark.

Mr. Johnathan was an avid North Carolina Tarheels fan and Carolina Panthers fan. He also loved the weather channels and would keep you informed when something was about to happen. He was an active member of Charity Independent Holiness Church. He had a special love for his family, friends, and coworkers. His most pride and joy was little niece "Aubree" which he loved dearly. In addition, John loved taking vacations with his family, and enjoying his spare time riding his golf cart and watching sports.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his father and mother Mr. Steve and Mrs Veneshia Strickland of the home, one brother, Mr. Seth Thomas Strickland and his special friend Kim. One special niece Ms. Aubree L. Lowery. His special grandmothers, Mrs. Shirley Strickland of Laurinburg, North Carolina and Mrs. Patsy Clark of Maxton, North Carolina; His grandfather, John Chavis of Greensboro, North Carolina; One uncle, Allen Strickland (Faye) of Maxton, North Carolina; Three Aunts, Kelly Chavis (Garrett) and Cindy Jacobs (Eric) all of Maxton, North Carolina; Michelle Baker of Pittsboro PA, His Cousins, Nicholas, Nolan, Madison, Kiley, Erica, Allyson,Jessica, Edward, and Ashley. A host of other relatives and friends.
