Mr. Jonathan Edward Delong age 37 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on October 17, 1985, to the late John Edward Delong and the late Mildred Smith in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on November 6, 2022, at Anmed Medical Center, Anderson, South Carolina. He is preceded in death by his father, John Edward Delong, his mother, Mildred Smith, maternal grandparents, Clyde and Stella Smith, paternal grandparents, John and Maggie Delong, a close friend Milford Locklear.

Mr. Delong loved spending time with his family and children. In his spare time, he enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing and yard work. He was an outgoing person who never met a stranger. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. There was never a dull moment when surrounded by Johnathan, he would always find a way to make someone's day and make you laugh.

Mr. Delong leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Bonnie Delong, three daughters, Bradleigh Hunt, Johnna Delong, Thristina Jacobs, two sons, Joshua Delong, Johnathan Delong (JJ), three brothers, James Ray Carter (Tamra) of Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina, Eric Ward (Brandi), Richard Ward, all of Whiteville, North Carolina, one sister, Tonya Ward of Whiteville, North Carolina; two special friends Semoan Wynn, Antonio Locklear both of Lumberton, North Carolina. A host of other relatives and friends.
