She departed this life on March 20, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Charlotte Euliss, grandparents Shelton and Anna Locklear, two brothers Shelton Delong and John E. Delong, a sister Rosie Lee Locklear.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son: John Euliss of Lumberton, North Carolina, two sisters: Kathy Delong of Lumberton, North Carolina, Annie Jane McLaurin of Hartsville. South Carolina, a special nephew: Shelton Locklear along with a host of other relatives and friends.
