Mr. Jock Lamar Clark 30, of 92 Jacks Dr. Maxton, NC was born on October 19, 1991 in Scotland County, NC.  His journey in this life ended on Friday June 3, 2022.  Jock was preceded in death by his father Jarrod "Bucky" Clark and mother Vickie Darlene Clark.

Jock attended Island Grove Baptist Church as a child and  participated in Bible Drill. During drill practice and competitions, Jock could turn to any verse given within seconds.  Not only did Jock increase his knowledge of the word of God, but little did he know that Gods word would be stored in his heart until death.  Jock also had a passion for sports!  He played baseball as a young child and through the early parts of his youth.  When Jock transitioned to Purnell Sweat High School, he soon converted to football.  Standing over 6'0 weighing around 245 pounds and representing #44 on the field he was a "beast". Jock represented his fellow teammates well;  with many fans in the stands that would  travel to see him at home and away games.  Jock graduated in 2010.

Those close to him knew him as a "gentle giant",  with huge heart, and a charming smile.

Jock leaves to cherish his memories: one brother, Adam Clark (Sara) of Laurinburg, NC, one sister, Telina Rogers Young (John) of Red Springs, NC; three sons Jock Jr., Kamden and Braydon  four nieces: Paris, Nilie, Mia, and Londyn, and a host of relatives and friends.
