Jimmy Patrick Locklear age 46 was born on October 30, 1975, to the late James Locklear Jr. and the late Peggy Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on June 27, 2022. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Gabriella Locklear, his brothers James Major Locklear, and David Earl Locklear.

Jimmy enjoyed music, fishing, and gardening. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters: Justice Dial and Harvey of Prospect, North Carolina, Kerrigan Sampson of Lumberton, North Carolina, Pilar Jones of Rowland, North Carolina, his stepfather: Earl Locklear, one brother: Spencer Locklear and Dawn of Pembroke, North Carolina, three sisters: Kimberly Brewer and Bryan of Lumberton, North Carolina, Brandy Thomas, and Bernard of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Cheyanna Locklear of Prospect, North Carolina, one grandchild: Nixon Goodwin, seventeen nieces, and nephews: Alex, Austin, Kayla, Tanisha, Bryan, Maria, Dakota, Christopher, Haley, Olivia, Major, Bella, Anthony, Hannah, Isaiah, Adam Jr, Jasper;  twelve great-nieces and nephews, a special friend: Clementine Dial, along with a host of other relatives and friends. and nephews
