Mrs. Jestine Alexander age 82 of Parkton, North Carolina was born to the late Mr. Booker T. Rucker and late Mrs. Maggie Carthens Rucker on July 17, 1940, in Hoke County. She departed this life into eternity on July 12, 2023, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Mrs. Jestine was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Alexander.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, James Alexander Jr (Daisy) of Parkton, North Carolina; Robert Lewis McLean (Yvonne) of Maryland; three grandchildren, Jareyce Alexander, Jeremiah Alexander, Andrea Bishop, great-grandchild, Elijah Bishop and a host of other relatives and friends.
