She departed this life on March 26, 2021, at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Fulmer, son, Larry Fulmer, Sisters: Thelma Locklear, Virginia Locklear, Elouise Locklear, and Sylvia Locklear, Brothers: Samuel Locklear, Bozie Locklear Jr, Wilbert Locklear, Kernice Locklear, two grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Nash Trent Wood (Faye), Barbara Locklear, Jacquline F. Locklear (Merriss), William Robert Fulmer (Carolyn) Lewis E.
