Mr. Jamin Alan Chavis age 33 of Maxton, North Carolina was born July 08, 1989, to  Kimberly Stricklin and the late Rodney Chavis. He departed this life to eternity on November 28, 2022, at Scotland Memorial Hospital, Laurinburg, North Carolina. He is preceded in death by his father Rodney Chavis, his uncle Ronnie Lee Chavis, his paternal grandfather Thurmond Chavis, his maternal grandparents William Molon and Ruth Strickland.

Jamin loved spending time with his children, family and friends. He enjoyed working with his mother doing heating and air repairs. Also he had a passion for hunting and fishing. Something he had done ever since he was a small child with his dad. Jamin was a big sports fan of various teams.

Jamin leaves to cherish his memories his children: Alana Chavis, Kaylie Chavis, Colton Chavis, Serenity Jones and Kenzie Chavis, his mother: Kim Stricklin, his MiMi Lashawn Jones, two sisters: Christina Chavis (Neil), Mya Chavis, one brother: Jonah Chavis, grandmother: Daphia Chavis, his girlfriend: Tracy Watts along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to everyone that has been so supportive during their bereavement.
