Mr. James Daniel DeBois age 42 of Fayetteville, North Carolina was born on March 25, 1981, to the late Mr. James DeBois and Mrs. Patricia Collins DeBois  in Toombs County. He departed this life into eternity on May 23, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, North Carolina. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Gladys Hilburn and his maternal grandparents, Franklin and Lorell Collins.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Jesse DeBois, two daughters, Morgan DeBois, Shyanne Spexarth, his mother, Patricia DeBois, four brothers, Daniel Thompson, Jessie Carpenter, Alexander McKinney, Kasey Gwilliams, two sisters, Brandy McKinney Bell (Jason), Cindy Gwilliams, grandchildren, Lucas Godfrey and Olivia Godfrey, a special friend, Shelly Spexarth, nieces and nephews, Brenden Bell, Logan Bell, Jillyana Bell, Clara Thompson, Dallas Thompson,, Amelia Thompson, Annaleigh McKinney, and a host of other relatives and friends.
