Mr. Jalex Railee Scott age 24 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on February 14, 1999 to Miss Jennifer Scott and Mr. Alex McGirt. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at his home. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Khloe Renee Rachel Scott, aunt, Kimberly Scott Dial, great-grandparents, Sam and Bertha Smith, and Wade Scott.

Jalex was employed as a Maintenance Technician at Smithfield Feed Plant in Laurinburg, North Carolina. He enjoyed traveling, collecting knives and guns and riding his dirt bike and ATVs. He also enjoyed playing video games with two special friends, Samson Chavis and Taylor Jones. He was a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many that will truly be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Jennifer Scott, two brothers, Cayden Scott, and Jayceon Scott, of Maxton, North Carolina. His grandparents, Randy and Brenda Scott that he called father and mother of the home. Two uncles, Bryan Scott and wife Michelle of Gaston, North Carolina; and John Wayne Dial of Maxton, North Carolina; cousins, Johnna, Kimbria, John S. Dial, Skye, Bliss, Eden, Issac, Glory, Everett, Haven, a special friend Tiffani McMillian and a host of other family and friends.
