Mr. Henry Thermond Locklear, age 76 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on April 19, 1945, to the late Mr. Howard Locklear Sr and the late Mrs. Gertha Jacobs Locklear in Robeson County. He departed this life into eternity on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, North Carolina. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Maggie Rose Chavis and Linda Joyce Oxendine.

Mr. Henry proudly served his country in the United States Army. First Seargent Locklear retired after 14 years of service to our country from the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army. He was a life member of the VFW. He served as a member of the Robeson County Honor Guard. While serving his country with Honor and Distinction he was awarded the esteemed title of " The Most Awarded Native American during the Vietnam Era" "All The Way, Sir! "

He leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters: Jacqueline L. McLaughlin (Bill) of Shannon, North Carolina; India Kay Jones of Pembroke, North Carolina; Lisa Michelle Locklear (Gregory) of Lumberton, North Carolina; one son: David Glen Graham of Lumberton, North Carolina; three brothers: Rev. Howard Locklear Jr (Linda) of Laurinburg, North Carolina; Rev Greg Locklear (Millie) of Linden, North Carolina; Michael Lee Locklear (Brenda) of Maxton, North Carolina; two sisters: Rena Louise Locklear of Wakulla, North Carolina; Wanda Locklear McCall (Jeffrey) of Spring Lake, North Carolina; twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, one uncle: Henry Locklear of Toney, Alabama, one aunt: Madie Rae Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, the family's special little friend: Master Alexander Wayne Floyd, and a host of other relatives and friends.
