Mrs. Gracie Lee Maynor age 74 of  Maxton, North Carolina was born on December 12, 1946, to the late Alford Chavis and the late Lula Mae Locklear in Hoke County, North Carolina. She departed this life to eternal life on January 22, 2021, at Scotland Memorial Hospital. Laurinburg, North Carolina.

Mrs. Gracie leaves to cherish her memories three sons James Maynor Jr., and Tommy Lynn Maynor both of Maxton, North Carolina, Christopher Lynn Maynor of Florida, a special son that she raised as her own Ernest Maynor of the home, two brothers: Mark Chavis ( Carol ) of Wagram, North Carolina, Connely Locklear ( April ) of Shannon, North Carolina, five sisters Jennifer Locklear (Donald), Debra George (Johnny) all of Raeford, North Carolina, Jodi Lankford of Sanford, North Carolina, Susie Chavis, and Carol Campbell both of Aberdeen, North Carolina, seven grandchildren Racheal Collins Blanks, Cheryl Maynor, Chrystal Maynor, C. J. Maynor, Sabrina Maynor, Austin Maynor, Raven Maynor, eight great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
