Mrs. Eyvonnie Chavis Pevia age 81 of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina was born on December 22, 1942, to the late Henry Chavis and the late Maggie Lee Jackson Chavis in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life on February 19, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Felton Pevia, a great grandchild Faith Pevia, her siblings Rev. Leeromie Bud Chavis, Henry Chavis Jr., Albert Chavis, Ernest Chavis, Mary Callahan, Annie C. Emanuel, Harlie Chavis, and Ronald Chavis.

Mrs. Eyvonnie leaves to cherish her memories one son: Delton Pevia of Fayetteville, North Carolina, two daughters: Sharon Brooks and Darlene Pevia of Shannon, North Carolina, two brothers: Carlie Chavis and Thurman Chavis both of Shannon, North Carolina, six sisters: Shelby Jane Locklear, Lilly Mae Oxendine, Lora Ann McMillian, Janie Ruth Scott, Frances Locklear and Sharon Locklear, grandchildren: Erica Yvonne Pevia, Brock Andrew Blanks, Chelsie Danielle Pevia, one great grandson: Xander, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
