Mrs. Ethel Mae Harrington, age 84, daughter of the late Prince and Alberta Sinclair, was born March 22, 1938. Our Heavenly father called her home to her final resting place on February 17, 2023.

Ethel received her education at Red Springs High School in Red Springs, North Carolina. Later down the years, she married the love of her life, Robert Charles Harrington on April 20, 1958.

Ethel was a very caring, nurturing mother and just a wonderful person all around. She took care of her mother, grandchildren and family as well. She was a very peaceful and kind person. Also, she loved to sing on the choir and was a active member of the church.

Ethel's memory will be cherished by her children, Ethel Denise Harrington, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Clifton Bernard Harington (Erica), Fayetteville, North Carolina. Clara Dianne Jones (Arther) of Baltimore, Maryland, and Perry Harrington of Red Springs, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Charles Harrington, two sons Charles Anthony Harrington and Rickie Lynn Sinclair.

She leaves behind three sisters, Betty (Daniel) Edison of New Jersey, Lorraine Sinclair of Brooklyn, New York and Catherine Harris of Red Springs, North Carolina. Preceded in death one brother, Prince Albert Sinclair. Six grandchildren, Joy Harrington, Katia Brown, Jamaal Harrington, Nazial McLaughlin, Navon Harrington and Taijah Harrington. Preceded in death by Chris Anthony Harrington. One great grandchild, Riley Anderson. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Ethel will surely be missed by those who knew her including loved ones, her church family and friends. Her kind spirit left an impression that will forever be cherished and remembered.
