Mr. Ernest Jr. Locklear was born on March 15, 1977, to the late Ernest Locklear and Mrs. Cathy Dial Locklear in Hoke County, North Carolina. He passed away into eternity on March 17, 2024. Along with his father he was preceded in death by a brother Michael Ray Oxendine, a sister Kathleen Jones.

Ernest worked for Gibson Farms of Hoke County for 28 years. Ernest dedicated his life to the Lord 15 years ago and became devoted to his church and served on the Pastor's Council for 4 years.

Mr. Ernest leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Tonya Locklear of the home, one son: Justin Dante Locklear of the home, one daughter: Sarah Ann Locklear, his mother: Cathy Locklear, papa to John Malcolm Ray, one brother: Donald Ray Locklear (Felicia) of Red Springs, North Carolina, four sisters: Loretta Shorts (Mark) of Shannon, North Carolina, Joyce Locklear (Linwood Johnson), Mandy Locklear (William Cummings) Kathy Ann Locklear all of Raeford, North Carolina, a host of special nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
