Mr. Eric Locklear age 44 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on November 15, 1977, to the late Carl Wayne Locklear and Marie Locklear in Scotland County, North Carolina. He departed this life on December 24, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather James Jimbo Locklear, his grandmother Novella Locklear.

Eric has touched so many hearts and made lifelong friends. He was always willing to help anyone that he came in contact with. He was a proud and loving son, husband, father, and friend who will truly be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Jacqualine Locklear of the home, three sons: Eric David Locklear (Precious McBryde), Nathan Jay Locklear (Keysha Hunt), Jimbo Locklear all of Maxton, North Carolina, one daughter: Erika Mashay Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, his mother: Marie Locklear of Wagram, North Carolina one brother: Paul Wayne Locklear of Cameron, North Carolina, two sisters: Rose Marie Locklear of Red Springs, North Carolina, Mattie Jo Hunt of Fayetteville, North Carolina, three grandchildren: Nathan Jr. Locklear, Payzley Locklear, Eathan Eric Locklear along with a host of other relatives and friends.
