In Loving Memory of Ella Ransom May 31, 1956- May 22, 2026

With profound sadness and loving remembrance, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and loved one, Ella Ransom who peacefully entered eternal rest on May 22, 2026.

Ella was a devoted Christian woman whose life was a reflection of her deep and unwavering faith in God. She faithfully served the Lord and was a dedicated Sunday School teacher who found great joy in teaching God’s Word and encouraging others in their walk with Christ. Her church was not just a place of worship, but a second home, and she loved her church family as her own.

She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unconditional love. She touched many lives through her prayers, wisdom, generosity, and compassionate spirit. Her presence brought comfort, and her faith inspired all who knew her.

Above all, she cherished her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and “grammy” whose greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones and creating lasting memories.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lenon Ransom, and her beloved son, Lenon Ray Ransom. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters: Denise Locklear (late husband Gideon Locklear), Tracie McMillan (husband Michael McMillan), Naomi Locklear, and Karri Ransom (Alex Hatzianoglou); her grandchildren: Patrick Chavis (Carla) Bethany Locklear, Samuel Locklear, Chayna Locklear, and Chancy Locklear; and her great-grandchildren: Carlionna Chavis, Brayston Strong, and Brayleigh Strong. She also leaves behind her beloved fur babies, Luna and Trooper, who brought her much joy and companionship.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing she is resting peacefully in the arms of her Savior.
