Mrs. Elaine Cummings Oxendine age 58 of Clarkton, North Carolina was born on October 18, 1963, to Mr. Hugh Alford Hargrove and Mrs.Mary Lee Locklear Hargrove in Robeson County. She departed this life on February 28, 2022, at Bladen County Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Jr. Cummings, one brother, Kenneth Hargrove, two sisters, Margaret Martinez, Susie Ann Hargrove.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Janie Cummings of St. Pauls, North Carolina; Rose Cummings of Clarkton, North Carolina; Cathy Hargrove of Lumberton, North Carolina; parents, Hugh Alford Hargrove and Mary Lee Locklear Hargrove of Clarkton, North Carolina; three brothers, James Hargrove of Bladenboro, North Carolina; Hugh Alford Hargrove Jr of Rennert, North Carolina; Manardie Alvin Hargrove of Clarkton, North Carolina; three sisters, Mary Sue McNeill of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Charlene Hargrove of Clarkton, North Carolina; Sarah Hargrove of Bladenboro, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Sabastian Horne, Landon Horne, Samuel Jones, Serenity Jones, Henry Cummings, and Malachi Fields. A host of other relatives and friends.
