Mr. Eddie "Pappy" Strong Jr age 56 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on August 06, 1967, to the late Mr. Eddie Strong and late Mrs. Mary Lowery Hunt and departed this life into eternity on June 24, 2024, at Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a special friend Sarah Bullard.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sister, Connie Strong of Fairmont, North Carolina; cousin, David Strong and wife Lori of Maxton, North Carolina; stepson, Walter Allen Benton and stepdaughter, Melinda Ann Benton both of Fayetteville, North Carolina;,special nephew, Papa John, special niece, two granddaughters, two grandsons, and a host of other relatives and friends.
