Mr. Don Locklear age 61 of Red Springs, North Carolina began his life on earth on December 30, 1959, and began his eternal life on November 10, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Locklear, mother Delia Jones, brother Vardell Jones, sister Joann Locklear, and brother Earl Locklear.

Don was known throughout the community as "Uncle Don". He was an enchanting storyteller who enjoyed reading. He was a host that offered what he had when he had it. His door was always open. He didn't take family or community for granted. Don was a hard worker.  As a logger, he didn't have many people that could keep up with him. His abilities were known throughout the industry. Despite all the trials of this life. Don had faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God.

Don leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Maxine Locklear, step-daughter Netasha Worriax (Heath), his only grandson Cameron Worriax (Machi) and great grandson Waylon Worriax, sister Roseanna Jones, nephew, Trent Locklear, and best friend Bobby Jones.
