Mr. Don Lewis age 64 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on October 17, 1958, to the late Mr. J.B. Lewis and late Mrs. Rosetta Oxendine Lewis in Robeson County. He departed this life into eternity on July 29, 2023, at Scotland Hospice. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Lewis, two sons, Ronnie Chavis and Donnie Chavis, one brother, Bobby Gerald Lewis and his grandparents, Stella and Furman Oxendine.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Donavan Lewis and Dylan Lewis both of Rowland, North Carolina; step-son, Danny McDowell (Christonya) of Latta, South Carolina; four daughters, Briana Hunt (Chris) of Rowland, North Carolina; Heather Chavis (Teresa) of Hope Mills, North Carolina; Nicole Dial of Fairmont, North Carolina; Leslie Lewis (Quintin) of Red Springs, North Carolina; stepdaughter, Roxanne Wallace (Anthony) of Latta, South Carolina; five brothers, James Lewis, Roger Lewis, Jeff Lewis, and Ralph Lewis (Debbie) all of Fairmont, North Carolina; Tim (Liz) Lewis of Lumberton, North Carolina; three sisters, Agenora Chavis (James L) of Fairmont, North Carolina; Elaine Lewis and Regina Branch both of Lumberton, North Carolina; three friends, Nikki Locklear, Chrystal Holmes and Kim Locklear, fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
