Mr. Dion Ronkeith Morrison age 20 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born August 30, 2002 in Cumberland County, North Carolina to Jessica Persell and Ronkeith Morrison.  Dion departed this earthly life Thursday, March 16, 2023 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is preceded in death by his uncle Timothy Eugene Pursell.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Jessica Pursell, father, Ronkeith Morrison, stepfather, Eric Hammonds, four sisters, Keyana Nicole Hammonds, Brittany Morrison, Tequila Morrison, and Denessa Morrison, two brothers, Elijah Levi Jones of the home, and RJ Morrison, his grandmothers, Rosetta Bullard, and Delores McLaughlin, uncles, Geronimo Bullard (Savannah) and Jason Oxendine, aunts, Marcia Bullard, Cuda Maria Orner, Rachel Hammonds, Dorothy Oxendine, Ashley Oxendine, Victoria Oxendine, cousins, Selena Sarmiento, Sahiya Bullard, Marciana Flores, Paxton Flores, Precious Sanderson, Quan Oxendine and Jamel Thompson and a host of other family and friends.
