Ms. Delois "Marilyn" Oxendine age 68 of Shannon, North Carolina was born on May 01, 1955, to the late Mr. Ervin McGirt and late Mrs. Cinderella Oxendine McGirt in Robeson County. She departed this life into her heavenly home on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Howard McGirt and best friend, Marie Capps.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Ricky Oxendine (Tabitha) of Red Springs, North Carolina; two daughters, Bobby Lowery (Beany) of Shannon, North Carolina; Angela Oxendine of Fayetteville, North Carolina; bonus daughter, Callie Al'Razzaq (Abdul) of Lumberton, North Carolina; one brother, Jimmy McGirt of Raeford, North Carolina; two sisters, Linda Ivey (Lawrence) of Red Springs, North Carolina; Sheila Locklear (Lacy) of Raeford, North Carolina; bonus sister, Linda Chavis of Red Springs, North Carolina. Seventeen grandchildren, Briana, Brooke, Alesha, Ricky Jr., Bailey, Rosha, Bethany, Honesty, Miracle, Pachience, Marilyn, Nevaeh, Harmony, Promises, Lason, Kyndall, Bella, fifteen great-grandchildren, a special friend, Velma Carter, and a host of other family and friends.
