Mr. Delmus Oxendine age 79 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on August 19, 1942, to the late Delma Oxendine and Magnolia Woods Oxendine in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life to eternity on December 13, 2021, at Elizabethtown Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Elizabethtown, North Carolina. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Ilene Cummings, two brothers Ervin D. Oxendine, Earl S. Oxendine, a sister Mazelene Byerly.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Ivene Oxendine of Lumberton, North Carolina, one daughter: Tabatha Oxendine Strickland (Rev. Lincoln) of Lumberton, North Carolina, three brothers: Ray Oxendine of Lumberton,North Carolina, Robert L.Oxendine and Archie L. Oxendine both of Red Springs, North Carolina, four sisters: Marilyn Oxendine and Carolyn Locklear both of Red Springs, North Carolina,Iona Hodges and Gladys Lowery both of Lumberton, North Carolina, two grandchildren: Christain "CC" Cummings and Jacob Strickland along with a host of other relatives and friends.
