Delilah Sampson, age 67, of Pembroke, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 6, 2026. 

Born on December 13, 1958, in Robeson County, Delilah lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family and friends.

Delilah was preceded in death by her parents, William Stenson and Daisy Sampson, and her sister, Vileana McCormick.

Known for her quick wit, playful spirit, and loving heart, Delilah could always make those around her laugh. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who cherished every moment spent with her family. Delilah worked throughout her life in daycare and manufacturing, where she touched many lives through her kindness, hard work, and caring nature.

She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Donna Sampson Hunt (Glenn), and Detria Sampson, one son, Devin Sampson (Gloria), one brother, Stenson R. Sampson (Jane), one sister, Debra Locklear (Jimmy), and five grandchildren, Amber Sampson, Paul Sampson, Gabriel Pittman, Dakota Sampson, and Dylan Sampson all of Pembroke, North Carolina. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Junior Bullard, Kellie Stackhouse, Karen Sampson, Steve Bullard, Nelson Locklear, and Tiffany Revels, along with a host of other relatives and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Delilah's laughter filled every room she entered, and her love left a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who knew her. Though she is gone from our sight, her spirit, kindness, and joyful nature will live on in the memories she created and the lives she touched.
