Connie Jacobs age 68 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on August 4, 1957, to the late Leon Locklear and the late Reatha Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life to eternity on May 6, 2026, at Scotland Memorial Hospital, Laurinburg, North Carolina. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Faye Clark, nephews, Leander Clark, Victor Chad Locklear, Seneka Allen Locklear.

Connie leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters: Nicole Gist (Rory McLaurin), of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Watoshia Emanuel of Maxton, North Carolina, and Tammie Jacobs (Michael McLeod) of Vass, North Carolina, four brothers: Mark Locklear (Susan) and Mitchell Locklear (Debbie), Bennie Thunder Eagle Emanuel (Tamela) all of Maxton, North Carolina, Victor Kluwig (Katrin) of Laurinburg, North Carolina, one sister: Lisa Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, ten grandchildren: Elizabeth Gist, Davey Gist, Latisha Emanuel, Bennie Emanuel, Cheyanne Emanuel, Miakalya Emanuel, Norman Locklear, Tamara Locklear, Alisha Locklear, and  Kelsey Strickland, nineteen great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
