Clyde Brandon Cooper age 42 of Raeford, North Carolina was born on April 26, 1981, to late Mr. Clyde Birce Cooper and Shirley Oxendine Cooper in Scotland County, North Carolina. He departed this life on January 23, 2024, at Scotland Memorial Hospital, Laurinburg, North Carolina. Along with his father he was preceded in death by a sister Alicia Cooper, maternal grandparents Wilbert Oxendine and Rosa Bell Woods, paternal grandparents Birce and Lillie Mae Cooper, a brother-in-law Sherman Ray Godwin.
Clyde loved to watch the UNC Tarheels and the Washington Redskins play ball, he loved to play golf and go fishing.
Clyde leaves to cherish his memories one son: Clyde Brandon Cooper Jr., one daughter: Victoria Cooper, his mother: Shirley Oxendine Cooper of the home, three sisters: Jawana Locklear (Lenney) of Red Springs, North Carolina; Lawana Freeman of Red Springs, North Carolina; Sherlina Godwin of Wagram, North Carolina; special friends: Chasity Heider, "Chip", VJ, six nieces, seven nephews, four great nieces, eight great nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
