Mr. Charlie Locklear age 77 of Pembroke, North Carolina was born on March 14, 1946, to the late Pervis Jones and the late Clara Evelyn Maynor in Robeson County, North Carolina. Charlie departed this life to eternity on June 21, 2023, at his residence. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Ricky Rice, sisters, Clara Clifton and Benda Locklear, brothers, Joe Locklear and R.C. Jones.

Mr. Charlie leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Cletis Hunt, three sons: Earl Rice, Dennis Rice, and Carl Rice, two daughters: Betty Hunt and Gail Oxendine, three sisters: Carolyn Jones, Sandra Oxendine, and Betty Joyce Jones, twenty-two grandchildren, fifty-six great-grandchildren, nineteen great great-grandchildren, his friends: Brittan Clifton and Phillip Clifton, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
