Mr. Charles Wesley Oxendine, age 76, of Rowland, NC passed away Tuesday morning, July 14, 2026.

Mr. Charles was born June 22, 1950 in Robeson County to Lacy Lee and Cordelia Oxendine.

Mr. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Lacy Lee and Cordelia Oxendine; his sisters, Lucy Emanuel, Bertha Jacobs, Pachan Locklear, Cordie Locklear, Christine Locklear; his brothers, Lacy Lee Jr. Oxendine, Levi Oxendine, Daniel W. Oxendine, Roscoe Oxendine, Claude Oxendine, and Fletcher Oxendine, and niece, Rosie Lee Hammonds.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Joyce Faye Oxendine; his sons, Charles Jr. Oxendine and Lacy Lee Oxendine of Rowland NC, his daughter Veronica Locklear (Craig) of Wagram; his grandchildren Victoria Oxendine Locklear (Lashawyn), Erina Sabi (Kevin), Titus Richard Oxendine, and Gabriel Levi Oxendine; great-grandchildren, Kyon, Apachiee, Ava, Juliana, Dristen, Aiyana, Laiken, Asher, Lyric and Israel; his siblings, Edward (Alice) Oxendine, Mary France Oxendine, Mary (Dale) Jacobs and Vergie (Charles) Locklear; along with a host of family and friends.
