Mr. Charles Willard Dial age 75 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on October 21, 1947, to the late Gaston Locklear and the late Annie McNeill in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life to his eternal home on April 08, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Perry Lynn Dial, and two grandsons Devan Collins, Charles Lynn Dial, two sisters Cathy McNeill and Joyce Bullard.

Mr. Charles leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Barbara Dial of the home, four sons: Brad Dial (Ashley) of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Ricky Collins (Kay), Mark Collins (Tammy) all of Maxton, North Carolina, Greg Collins (Elizabeth) of Princeton, North Carolina, one daughter: Tonya Lowery (Brian) of Red Springs, North Carolina, three brothers: Mike McNeill (Kathy), Nelson McNeill (Rita) all of Red Springs, North Carolina, Anthony Dial (Frances) of Baltimore, Maryland, four sisters: Carolyn Locklear ( Rev. Larry), Jacqueline Sanderson all of Red Springs, North Carolina, Marie Lowery (Tony), Melody Locklear all of Raeford, North Carolina, grandchildren: Marcus Dial, Tamarah Lowery, Lauren Dial, Kirstie Dial, Brad Elliott Jr., Rikayla Collins, Brianna Locklear, Maya Collins, Kyler Collins, J.J. Oxendine, Johnan Leigh Oxendine, great grandchild: Kailan Locklear, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
