Ms. Chardenay Kierra Brown was born June 6, 1992 to the late Joseph Anthony Brown and Mrs. Deneem Moore McNeill. On Friday, October 4, 2024, God, in His Infinite Wisdom, called her to make her passage from this world to eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her father, her grandfathers, Thomas Diggs and Joseph Brown, Jr. and her great grandparents, James and Flora Davis.

Chardenay began her educational career at Tiny Tots Day Care Center where she was dearly loved and nurtured. She entered Peterson Elementary School and excelled academically and socially until she and her mom moved to Fayetteville, NC. There she attended Cumberland County Schools until her senior year. At that time she moved back to Red Springs and graduated with the class of 2011.

A person who loved to explore hairstyles, Chardenay was never afraid to try new designs. She was a chic dresser and would proudly show off her "fits". She had the gift of putting fashions together to make her "look" one of a kind.

For forever and always, we will give honor to the life and memories of our precious mommy, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Chardenay will remain in the hearts of her beloved children: X'erriah and Jossiah; Her dear mother and dad; Deneem and Darien McNeill; Grandmothers: Oneda E. Moore and Alma Brown; Her "special dad", Terrance Pope; Sisters, Jomeka Troy, Delicia Galbreath, Jasma McNeill, Tiana Pope, Tre'Zure Moore, and Dariana McNeill. Brothers: Jamal McNeill (LaNeese) and Tariq McNeill (Kristina).  She leaves Uncles: Dexter Brown and Devin Moore; Aunts: Belinda Brown, Jonnetta Johnson, Kimberly Johnson (Andre'), and Carnetta McDougald (Ernest). Chardenay is survived by seven nieces and eight nephews. She leaves her devoted God Mother, Keshia McPhaul Hampton (Rudy) and her loving friend Julius Richburg.
