Ms. Carrie Lee Locklear age 76 of Maxton, North Carolina, was born on January 10, 1950, to the late J. Jackson Locklear and the late Lide Bullard. She departed this life to her eternal home on July 12, 2026, at Morrison Manor, Laurinburg, North Carolina. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Nash Locklear, Jenkins Locklear, James Locklear, three sisters: Vera Locklear, Blossie "Candy" Locklear, Roberta Jones.

Ms. Carrie leaves to cherish her memories two sons: William Locklear and Stuart Marlin Jacobs both of Maxton, North Carolina, one daughter: Shatysha Lynn Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, three brothers: Parnell Locklear (Wanda) of Raeford, North Carolina, Jackson Locklear Jr., Joe Locklear (Gail) all of Maxton, North Carolina, two sisters: Anna Mae Chavis of Red Springs, North Carolina, Hazel Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, a special friend: Patricia Ann Strong, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
