Mr. Britt C. Lowery (Pops) age 70, of 1003 Patience Dr., Rowland NC, was born July 4, 1950 and departed on his new journey Friday, January 22, 2021 at UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center. Mr. Lowery is preceded in death by his father and mother: Bracey and Snodie Lowry. Brother and sisters: Evelyn Lowery, Kathy Bullard and Bracey Terry Lowry.

Mr. Lowery is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mrs. Janice Ann Lowry of the home; two sons, Llyold Lowery and wife Kim Lowery, and Micheal Lowery wife Bridget Lowery, and one daughter, Tosha Lowery Thomas and husband David Thomas all of Rowland. Five brothers: Neal Lowry, Earl Lowry, Gerald Lowry, Billy Ray Lowry, and Bobby Dean Lowry. Eight sisters, Thelma Deeringwater, Molly Hunt, Polly Bullard, Rachel Bullard, Betty Carter, Sandra Hunt, Lillian Carter, and Rita Faye Lowry. Eleven Grandchildren: Marlyn Thomas, Taylor Locklear, Mallory Thomas, Sebastine Lowry, Ethan Lowry, Breanna Lowery, Landon Lowery, Madison Thomas, Mya McNutt, Jeremy Jackson and Joshua Jackson. Four great-grandchildren: Brooklyn La'Cole, Emerie Hemingway, Jordan Earl Locklear and Zayden Hemingway.Pops loved NASCAR, enjoying track time with his sons. Going to the lake with his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed going hunting, and long rides listening to his music.
