Bobby Ray Hunt age 67 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on May 03, 1955, to the late Winford Locklear and the late Clara Mae Oxendine in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on June 20, 2022, at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, North Carolina. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lois Ann Hunt, his children Alicia Ann Hunt, Melissa Sue Hunt, Nikki Marie Hunt, and Bobby Ray Hunt.

He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters: Katie Burns Locklear and Teresa, Jacklyn Nicole Locklear and Jason Dial, Adrianna Locklear, two sons: Edward Locklear and Bobby Dan Hunt, his longtime companion and best friend: Jacklyn Janine Jones, and three brothers: Dan Locklear, Rocky Lane Locklear, Little Roc Locklear, two sisters: Judy Lowery and Catherine Marsh, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one on the way, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
