Mrs. Blondie Hunt Oxendine, age 74 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on December 15, 1947, to the late Mr. Bunion Hunt and the late Mrs. Ella Ree Hunt, She departed this earthly life on Monday, May 30, 2022, to enter into the eternal presence of Jesus. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev Weymon Ollen Oxendine, one grandson, Timothy Oxendine, and her siblings: Purcell Hunt, Willie C. Hunt, Shirley Carter, Illa Mae Freeman, Willa Mae Brooks, and Barbara Hunt.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Weymon Oxendine Jr and wife Katasha, Rev Donald Oxendine and wife Wendy, and David Oxendine all of Red Springs, North Carolina; one daughter, Debra Chavis and husband Michael of Fairmont, North Carolina; one brother: Bradford Hunt and Debbie, three sisters: Gladys Freeman and Homer, Brenda Carter and Ronald, Rebecca Hunt and RC all of Fairmont, North Carolina, seven grandchildren, Michael, Donavan, Matthew, Kelsey, Jeffrey, Kohnner, Tariah, eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
