Mr. Billy Hodges age 65 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on July 11, 1956, to the late Bill Hodges Sr. and the late Alene Parker in Cumberland County, North Carolina. He departed this life on January 24, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Rayvone Moore and a sister Ruby Tew.

Mr. Billy loved and enjoyed his grandchildren. His grandchildren called him Boo. Mr. Billy enjoyed serving his country in the United States Navy. He was a prankster. He enjoyed his animals. He loved helping others with a special love for children.

Mr. Billy leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Annette Hodges of the home, one son: Daniel Stern of the home, one daughter: Amber Thomas and husband Daniel of Maxton, North Carolina, one brother: Jay Hodges and wife Nicole of Georgia, two grandchildren: Eli Thomas and Grayson Thomas along with a host of other relatives and friends.
